May was packed with inspirational growth and digital marketing courses, events, and workshops. This month, our events made their way across 3 countries (that’s over 5,000 flight miles!). Everywhere we went, it was so satisfying to see the demand from enthusiastic businesses, which also inspired us. Here’s the summary of our May 2019 courses, events, and workshops:
Our Growth Marketing Consultant, Ezgi Ada explained: “How to Build and Execute an Effective Content Marketing Strategy” to the Fineksus Team. In her Content Marketing Workshop, she talked about how content marketing is essential throughout the customer lifecycle and sales funnels. She also covered the stages of the content production process (including planning, production, distribution, analysis, and optimization) and how to produce content according to the buyer’s journey.
Our founder, Eren Kocyigit talked about “Growth Marketing Strategies for Startups and Scaleups” at the Growth Marketing Workshop organized by London & Partners. He discussed the key steps in executing a successful growth marketing strategy and what to consider when building personas, creating growth funnels, and optimizing growth marketing tactics.
Our Growth Marketing Consultant, Ezgi Ada, and Customer Growth Director, Taylan Kaymakcı explained: “How to Build and Plan an Effective Growth Marketing Strategy” at INNOGATE Automotive Marketing Seminar. They discussed how to build growth funnels according to automative industry personas and talked about the key metrics for tracking and analyzing- for a successful growth marketing strategy.
Ezgi Ada and Taylan Kaymakcı attended the “Biotechnology Marketing Workshop,” hosted by INNOGATE. They talked about the fundamentals of executing a successful growth marketing strategy, which for the biotechnology industry includes persona building, growth funnel creation, and management. Using real-life examples, they also talked about two key growth metrics: growth tactics and analysis.
Eren Kocyigit was one of the speakers at EMAC (European Marketing Academy) in Hamburg. He participated in the special session ‘Unpacking the Mystique of Mobile Digital Content and Its Consumers: Insights for Consumer-Brand Relationships,’ and presented the paper “A Typology of Mobile Consumers Drawing on an Analysis of Mobile Services Consumption” In his paper, he discussed different types of mobile users according to their mobile content consumption.

Founded in 1975, the European Marketing Academy (EMAC) is a professional society for people who are involved in marketing theory and research. It aims to serve as the core of a communication network for information and promoting international exchange in the marketing field. The academy issues publications and organizes events such as EMAC Annual Conference, Doctoral Colloquium, and Regional Conference. These events allow the attendees to discuss research projects of major universities or scientific institutes and doctoral students to discuss their dissertation research with leading academics in the field of marketing.
Eren is a Marketing Lecturer at several universities such as Middlesex University, University of Birmingham, Istanbul Technical University, and Istanbul Bilgi University.
He is also a Mentor / Keynote Speaker / Lecturer at several institutions such as London & Partners, Startupbootcamp, Founder Institute, Innogate, Kworks, and SuCool. He has been offering mentorship and giving keynotes/lectures regarding growth and digital marketing to startups and scaleups since 2013.
After occupying the role of assistant regional manager at Yapıkredi, managing relations between banks from 4 continents on many fronts, ranging from the treasury to trade finance and payments, she switched to a career path in the field of marketing. At NBT, she gets to formulate growth marketing strategies to take visionary tech companies and FinTechs to the global stage, helping to find/ helping them to find the next big thing.
She is also a lecturer at Innogate, Endeavor Turkey, and Zorlu Holding.
After working for both local and global companies in a marketing capacity in the sectors of retail, engineering, and finance, he began working in marketing consultancy and rule marketing strategies at NBT, where he consults start-ups & scale-ups.
He is also a lecturer at Innogate and a mentor at Eskişehir Osmangazi University-Statistics Club.
